Orienteering race 1:41:43 [4] 5.1 km (19:57 / km)
shoes: OROC Spiked

When I finished my first thought was that was pretty easy technically. Then I see I had 14:47 of lost time. I had two really bad fumbles at the end on control 12 #59 - Decided to go N rather than NE don't know why. On control 13 #77, I was really confused a re-entrant junction was in the control circle - the clue sheet said gully junction. Just could not get my head around what should have been easy. Lost 5:37 there.

Very pleased I made myself start slow until I knew where I was going. I actually thought #1 was the hardest control on this course.

Orienteering race 26:53 [4] 2.4 km (11:12 / km)
shoes: OROC Spiked

OLOU winter sprint at U of L. I had not planned on going but when I saw how bad the weather was, I knew I had to go just for moral support since this was Lloyds first meet. I think about 12 showed up. A least we had a heated room to operate out of.

The temperature which was supposed to go up into the upper 20's today instead sunk to 17 this afternoon with light snow most of the day. The roads were icy on the overpasses since salt was not working well. About 1 -2 inches of snow.
