Distance based upon Laurie's GPS watch we did almost the same route. Actual as crow flies distance = 5.9 KM.

Ever year I do this race it reminds me of a goat race. I did the medium course. It has a mass start. 3 levels - short, medium & long. It has absurd hill climb to it. However, No forks or skipping.

I put the ski's away, I really don't think there will be a deep enough snow to ski on the rest of the winter. Most El Nino years are warm and wet here. But this last snow surprised me.

Pulled out the Jalas I had not worn in a couple years. They are fine for a sprint. Also had on some winter weight Rail rider pants.
