Looks like i was actually moving, although still felt like i was holding back. only 25seconds behind Richard (i assume he was taking it easy)

So good to have this in the city at lunchtime, REALLY cool. Although was a little simple (understandably) so will do then next couple of weeks without pre-looking at the map, and finishing at a pub.

Bank holiday, and oscar in daycare, so took the cyclocross bike down to lady carrington drive via bikepaths the whole way.
really challenged my technique on the firetrails before audley, and those back from waterfall (after missing a train by seconds). The latter meant a reasonable amount of hike-a-bike. great day out
