Thank you Igor for such a great course!

Sometimes I don't know if I should laugh or cry!

I guess instead I press on.

To begin, I really thought I had plenty of fluid to get me through, which was kind of the case, but I suppose that was the least of my worries.

Started off OK to 1, and 2 flummoxed me, so I went with what seemed to be the clearest and feature helpful route. Same with 3 and 4. On my way to 5, I tried to sort the shenanigans in the lower corner...oh boy. Decided to grab the road and cut across to 6, and then crossed the contours to 7 (pretty jagged, had a tough time reading that and just wasn't comfy with going for it on a bearing). I went right past, got confused, turned back and got 6.

Across over the 7 trying to minimize climb! Then back to 8 but I floated pretty badly west which was so frustrating. I don't seem to float in any particular direction. I was trying to stay high and maybe climbed up again?

Got to 8, a little hihg on the gully. Off to 9 in the same manner as others and thought would have time to look ahead but my turnoff came fast after drinking and eatiing a little. Wobbly to 10.

Then the wheels came off. 11, 12 and 13 were a hot mess. To go to 11 I had it in my head that the spur trail would be so obvious that I could grab it. It was a no go and I wound up more east than south. Then when I was on the trail, there were several others hanging around and wanted to get in the woods to think. I just couldn't make sense of where I was and when I did I thought oh no. And getting to 11 wasn't easy for me. But got through it.

On 12 I floated to the east. Resituated myself to the kidney depression and got in. By this time I was near another guy who whistled a lot. Hmmmm.

Headed to 13, and lost my sense of bearing about 150m from the control. The whistler was with me. And, I hate to admit is was kind of on my nerves. He started to ask me some questions and shared that he is pretty new at this. I decided that if I connected with him that maybe he wouldn't whistle and could help him get back. He said he missed 2, and did 5, 6, 7, and 8 in the order he chose. And, I knew that it would force me to follow a plan.

14 was fine, 15, he didn't trust me and I said it's fine if you want to go on your own and then he followed me. Going to 16 I hit the marsh to the north but came around. 17 I overshot my planned AP from the trail but made my way back. Then pretty straight to 18 and then the trail to 19.

I should have planned better for this. It got so hot. I was dripping with sweat.
