a cracking run out in the Ochills with tom. he murdered me of course but kept me going and meant i could fly past him on the downhill. felt pretty good on the climb up dumyat, pretty weak on the second climb, and pretty shoddy indeed coming along BofA high street. fitness will return with a few sessions like that. felt bloody sore after though, had to grit my teeth jogging back from the station at a crippled snails pace...need to roll everything out tonight

a race to sweat out the hangover. i really wanted to just get round in a reasonable place and the presence of Hector Haines and other such hill running royalty meant it was just a race to be enjoyed. i did push hard on the climb but pussied out a bit on the super slippery and steep decent...need to grow some balls back. the country road home was taken far to easy and lost a couple places. which was disappointing but not too disastrous...always next year i suppose.
