running to the start and drills

HH northaw, 8.1km brown
pretty crap run, 1 was quite a long way away so got up to the top path and was aiming to attack off the path junction but i seemed to be forever running along the path, ran back as i thought i had gone too far then got myself seriously confused. 2 was also scrappy. then fine till 13 (i can never find this control in this area!), a depression right next to the path, abit along from where the corner of the field met the forest. i dont know why but when i eventually found it it was right inline with the field which is not how it is shown on the map, annoyed me. the rest was okay just slowww, had to walk some of it
wasted probs about 10 mins, need more confidence and more concentration and more fitness
winning time some crazy 46 mins

had to control collect, wasnt in the mood, found them okay jogged back and mum still wasnt back at the car, then it started hailing sooooooo heavily got absolutely drenched hiding under a tree for 20 mins or so fab

orienteering 1:10:00 [3] 10.0 km (7:00 / km)

really rough guess on time and distance as garmin kept loosing satellite
control pick- 0.9km started way too fast mucking up the first 4 so wen back to number 1 and started again, slowed down and hit them better
route choice-3.5km, was pretty fab apart from going to number 1 where i wanted to go straight on a bearing to hit a big path before the control but wavered a bit and ended up too far right
visualisation- had the map folded and so did it in a weird order but was okay
then did a short relay in the afternoon, 3x3 loops (1.2, 1 and 0.4km). Did the 1.2km first and stuggled to keep up with ali and nick, then straight away did the 0.4 still following them. then i had a complete mare on the 1km loop, my person came in before ali's so I didnt look at the map much got myself so confused and ran back to the start, which i then couldnt find, managed to relocate then found number 1. then ran off in a weird direction, fiddled around in some green and eventually gave up, haha whoops

first time back in about a month, happens to be the first x-country race this weekend so was an easy session which was the best for me anyway. 2 laps warm up, about 15 mins worth of drills (not included in time), then the rest of the group did 8x~150m strides but I did them continuously just at a casual pace and did 18. 1 lap warmdown.
As soon as I had finished the 150m's my coach made me lie down and made me do some stretches and strengthing stuff and said that i was really badly running lop-sidedly and favouring one leg- my left arm comes way infront of my body compared to normal and i was sort of 'leaning' (which everyone in the club said too!). he says my right leg is a lot weaker than my left which maybe the cause of constently being injured as im just not running right.. hes going to look into it and see what i can do, but will ask my pt tommorow too to see if theres anything he could suggest. just feeling generally shite about running and like i just want to give up

was sosoosososo hard to get out of bed so ended up laying in a for bit but it was horrible outside! glad i did eventually get out, very slow and feeling tired but felt a lot better by the end

right up to the top to the golf course, was tough as it was very muddy! the cows slightly scared me thought I was going to die! managed a 7.50min/mile on the last one but was proper sprinting like
