Warm up and ride home: Rode to the Bastion Square Crit: it started raining just 10 minutes before getting to registration - - didn't race as I didn't bring my rain tires and the course was sooo slippery over painted pedestrian Xing lines on corners, lots of manholes, grates etc. I know, I know....excuses, excuses. Would have been 50 laps of pure tension on the corners and hoping you weren't being taken out by another rider sliding out....as it stands in the first lap of my cat, four riders went down and it continued throughout the day.
