Cdn Nat'l Cyclocross Race, otherwise known as how to embarrass myself on the national stage. Raced the 50-54 category and didn't have a great race....didn't have much fitness for racing and it was evident today. Had two good laps riding 8th, but then faded badly. At least my entry entitled me to a free beer served up by the Red Racer girls and my cheering section that consisted of my sis and Bruno the wonderdog were most awesome.

Missed the hole shot by a 40/45 due to lack of finesse with clicking in! D'oh.

Ok race - was gaining back position until the 2nd last lap when I flatted. Didn't bother running the lap out to the pit to get an extra wheel and thus pulled out at the flyover. Great course: lots of mud, technical sections and pavement to pass.
