Quick ride to blow off work tension. I haven't been able to get a long ride/run or even paddle session in due to work and family commitments. Hopefully work will settle down in the near future ;-) and I'd like some cheese to go with my whine.
Low intensity.
Left hamstring and insertion increasing in discomfort. Didn't listen to my Thurs notion to not run for a while - now I'm paying for it. I'll be booking an appointment to see my trainer/therapist.
Very tired; slow run. Left hamstring and insertion very sore. Good thing the VPC this weekend was cancelled otherwise my race pace would be slow on the run portion.
Hills. Pressed for time. Work is dragging me down, down, down, down, dowwwwnnnnn, dooooowwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! Ack. Ok, enuff whining/winging/complaining/carping/bellyaching. I just had a mini-brownie...now I feel better.
Hike with L to top of quad, then return. Felt like Heidi when I had the chance herd cattle up a steep mountain bike path in the woods: they were quite upset with me.
