Paddling.

Worked out the torso when concentrating on form, then I resorted to poor paddling techniques when in the rough stuff north of the islands, just trying to stay atop of the 'ski as I was abeam of wind, and waves and the current was in the opposite direction.

I was quite fatigued on my trip back across the channel and the winds had picked up and the tide was ebbing. Lucky I was heading just off the wind and could use some waves to surf on, but when going thru mid channel, it was a washing machine and I was trying to not get caught in the worst part.

I dumped once and that was enough for me.

Solid run thru the Mt Doug trails: started from the Blenkinsop side, then up Little Mt D, countoured west, dropped down to the farms, then around the perimeter of Mt D causeway, then by the main entrance and straight up to the summit of Mt D; then dropped down Glenndinning and then Mercer back to the start.
