Running (SR - West Perth) 27:35 [3] 4.28 km (6:27 / km) +54m 6:04 / km
ahr:171 max:180 shoes: ASICS GEL - Nimbus 17

A nice short one today - about 4.1-4.2km which was a welcomed surprise. Perfect length for a lunchtime jaunt - however traffic midweek might make this one a bit more challenging.

Made it 2.6km before having a short walk up a small rise - fitness very very slowly coming back as is speed - incremental gains there.

Small lapse in concentration had me miss a lane way. Lots of good nooks and crannies in west Perth! Actually a nice running area on the weekend - would love to see someone do it at speed.

Did some app testing - a bit of work still required there...

Running (Kings Park Score) 45:50 [3] 6.8 km (6:44 / km) +113m 6:13 / km
ahr:171 max:187 shoes: ASICS GEL - Nimbus 17

Ok so it looked like it would be a nice day and it was so got out for a lunchtime run.

Decided to try out the KP score course this time. Also wanted to push myself a bit harder because need to get fitness back. I certainly went harder - but still an unacceptable amount of walking for my liking. That said significantly faster than my KP run last week so improvement on that non-existing fitness. Mentally need to push harder though - that will come but gosh a long way off 5min/km.

Ran a track I never had before between 25-33 (quite a nice track grassed, flat, nice scenery) also saw a bobtail on the track from lovekin to 27.

Lots of school kids up near the ponds doing all sorts of activities including orienteering.

Realized a bit too late that I had gone a bit far and was struggling speed wise so tried to get back as fast as possible - ended up a bit late so will lose 10 points for it.

Tight spots all over and 1 blister... welcome back to running after being sick for ages!
