MTBO race at Munday Brook. Good course with some tricky short legs, but sometimes hard to see what's happening with the tracks in complex areas at 1:25000 (for my eyes anyway). Haven't done much mtb'ing and more used to the firm surface and handling of the road bike, so wasn't going very fast, and surprised to find myself leading when I got back - and still leading when I left 40 minutes later.

Kings Park lap, HRM doing weird things again. 72 when the run started, shot up to high 150s before I'd taken a dozen strides and remained above 150 for the first 2 kms, finally dropped to 120 after half-way.
