Running 39:05 [3] 7.0 km (5:35 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 TrailRoc 255

Kings Park sand tracks. Started slowly but got into a good rhythm after a few hundred metres. Managed to maintain the rhythm (but not quite the 5:20-25 pace) going uphill on the deep sand of the central firebreak - 7-8 mins of pure running hell.

Just before I started a large flock of 100+ black cockatoos flew over Hale oval heading East.

Road cycling 2:20:00 [3] 51.8 km (2:42 / km)
shoes: Bike: Beemer Auto

Around the river, detour due to freeway path closure adds a few hundred metres and several minutes. The Daily crowded as usual.

Event: Giro D'Perth

Road cycling 2:30:00 [3] 40.0 km (3:45 / km)
shoes: Bike: GT Avalanche

Giro D'Perth with PP and Carol. Nice ride around the inner suburbs, route took us right past Rosemary's & Fletchers' houses, and the OWA Shed, and pretty close to Chas', Richard & Nicole's, Anthea's, Toivo's and Trish Tash's. Stopped at Ingredient Tree on Herdy Parade for coffee before the Herdsman Lake circuit. Got all the answers for the 30km route, plus those for the 17km and 11km routes. Time includes stops for clue hunting.
