Metro Series race at City Beach North, actually all the controls were in Wembley Downs. Avoided the crush at the start by omitting 3 and going straight to 1. Probably not the best choice as 2 and 8 were quite long legs.

The right calf had felt a it tight during the warm-up, but it was ok for the first 3/4 of the run. Then about 5 controls from the finish I felt it go, and just hobbled in from there. Hopefully I saved it from the worst.
