Orienteering race 16:45 [3] 2.4 km (6:59 / km)
shoes: X-Talon 190

Nav Dash race at John XXIII College, one-handed and using the right-leg shuffle. Took the safe, left route to 1, then the shorter route across the oval to 2. Straightforward from there to 8 (4-5 up the steps to the road was a pain), then I should have realised 9 was on the lower level and gone back down the steps from 8. Small error at 10 where I missed the underpass into it. 11 and 13 were also a pain, and seemingly put in the course purely for extra distance. Probably could have knocked 2 minutes off my time with 'real' running. Calf, hurry up and fix thyself.

Running 15:00 [4] 2.0 km (7:30 / km)

Attempt to run to see if it was possible with the splint keeping my arm pain free. Worked ok - albeit at slow pace - for a while but then the calf muscle started to tighten again, so walked the final km of the 3 I had set out to do.

Obviously I will have to see the physio to get the calf right.
