Orienteering race 33:50 [4] 5.0 km (6:46 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 TrailRoc 255

Metro race at Woodbridge (but 2/3 of the map in Viveash). Old habits die hard - got the gps all ready then forgot to start the route, so distance is a rough estimate. Two places (6th) better than last week, but should really have got 5th or even 4th. Three errors - at 6 I was reading the description for 7 and went past the control up to the fence corner, should have taken the road option from 7 to 23 (longer but no creek or long grass), and stopped at what I thought was a ride 50m before 27 (see tRicky's log). KP passed me here - and I didn't see any pink tape!

1-2-3-4-5-8-6-7-23-24-10-28-29-27-9.

With a small pack through 1-2-3-4, then dropped most of them to go 5-8-6-7, with KP at 23 and 24, scooted out quickly to the gate before 10, then ran hard to 28 and 29 but slowed through the long grass to 27.

Congrats to @ Riley McFarlane on a 3-minute win. Must have got over that 9-month long cold!
