Road cycling 2:45:00 [3] 63.1 km (2:37 / km)
shoes: Bike: Beemer Auto

Around the river . . . but first . . . S Perth, Curtin, Waterford, Aquinas and Mt Henry. Girls head of river was taking place at Canning Bridge, slow riding with lots of shells, oars and girls on the path leading to the underpass. And a zillion cars along The Esplanade.

Road cycling 2:25:00 [3] 55.5 km (2:37 / km)

Around the river after waiting until 11.30 for the roads to dry out. A couple of showers visible one or two suburbs away from where I was.

Orienteering race 31:00 [4] 2.3 km (13:29 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Arctic Claw

Short course at Russell's Gully NavDash. GPS 2.59kms. Very slow to get going, especially up the hill to 2. Better after that until 12-13 where I got caught in extensive unmapped green on the S side of the creek, which had looked a better way to go on the map. Then I blew 15 where I was off to the right and there was no boundary fence. Lost one minute at both of those.

Orienteering 36:50 [3] 3.0 km (12:17 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Arctic Claw

Long course at Russell's Gully, gps 3.39kms. Better run, even though I only had a short break after downloading the Short course. No errors, but was slow on climbs and through green compared to the speedsters (Michal and Craig). Went the fastest way to 17.
