Orienteering race (OCIN Big Bone Lick) 1:25:56 [3] 5.1 km (16:51 / km)

Fun Green course set by Ben Hart that had lots of route choice. The northwest section of the map that wasn't used for the Flying Pig needs some help - especially in the open woods where there are many more, water-filled (this weekend) depressions than are on the map. I had problems with C10 (west pair of depressions), partially because I approached it through the open woods running past the unmapped depressions. The reentrant system at C4 was difficult to read for me and I went too far so ended up bailing up to the trail and repositioning myself based on the depression next to the trail. I was happy to see that I won two splits on the green course this week though.

Tried to get some exercise but find a stair climber not as satisfying as a run. Hopefully the roads and trails will soon be passable.
