Trekking (control pick up) 40:00 [2]

I spent the day at the National O meet. I love the international flavour of orienteering events. And that is before the Canadians get there :)
Hauling boxes of food to the registration area, setting the little flags en route to the start, shuttling out of state volunteers, making and serving countless cups of hot chocolate......it really looked like a great event from my side of the desk. There were so many compliments from out of state participants. Well done, Igor et al!
I picked up the 6 controls behind the yurt. Bishop Lake's garbled hills never cease to challenge me. 6 of those flag stands is about enough to carry through the woods (I was worried about dropping one and not being able to find it).
But back to the yurt......winter getaway?

Hockey 25:00 [3]

This league has really stepped it up this year. A good workout!

Gym time (Boot camp) 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Other

Pull ups with assistance from bands, box jumps, assorted dumbell and barbell stuff. But just a bit different from Thursdays chest work. So I have different sore muscles now.

Spin class 45:00 [3]

Intervals.....the 90 second ones are tough!

Chest stuff. When we were done the assigned benchpresses and dumbbell and kettlebell exercises, we were to finish with as many pushups as possible. I could not do one, except a few elevated ones on the barbells. I could not lift my arms high enough to scratch my ear.
I was not alone in this awkward situation. I could barely get my hands up to the keyboard in the afternoon.
