I navigated cleanly, but lost some time on 10. It was behind a house, and I hesitated as I approached, because it didn't feel right (it felt like it should be off limits as a private residence). I had good route selection, and didn't fall for any of the "gotchya" routes.

I wanted to take it easy on my bum knee, so I took a shorter hike up to Lost Cliffs Overlook with Lori, Annie, and Julie, while the rest hiked the South Rim Trail.

Gunflint Lodge weekend. Long hike from the lodge to Bridal Falls, about 5k on gravel roads, then 5k on the Border Route Trail, then the return trip. The trip out was good, but my knee started hurting a lot on the return trip.
