I had fairly solid navigation, but slow going with the rocky terrain. The errors I had were simple to correct. On #2, I didn't have a solid plan, but there was a trail behind the control, so no problem. On #8, I veered way off course south of the lake, and came out to the road about 350m uphill from the open area. The trouble started by thinking that I had missed the trail split at the south edge of the lake, when I actually hadn't gotten to it yet. Once I was back on track, I started heading to 9 instead of 8, but fortunately I realized it about 100m before 8, so no time lost there. Going to #9, I didn't see the opening in the rocks, so I took the hard route up and over. On #15, I went too far right, but noticed the area of green and adjusted. Apparently I lost over a minute there, but it didn't feel like it. I guess it was a combination of my error with my cautious movement down the hill from 14.
