I ran the Long Advanced course from the December GrizO event at Blue Mountain. AJ ran it in just under 55 minutes in the snow, so that was my goal now - without snow. It was nice to push hard and actually orienteer on one of my own maps/courses. I have not had many chances to do that.

Long run with Persik up Crooked Trail towards Crazy Canyon. Really nice trails in that area. I should run out there more often.

I did hill intervals on the dirt/gravel path that leads from our neighborhood up to Mansion Heights. It's about 42m climb over 0.35 miles, most of it in one grueling straightaway. A good hill. I ran four of these, jogging down as rest:
2:52
2:55
2:49
2:53.

Note

So I think I want to start a GrizO kids program. I think it could do well in Missoula. Am I insane? And what are some pitfalls to be aware of?

I did elliptical intervals, 8x3 minutes.
