GrizO event at Blue Mountain. Several inches of snow fell on top of the icy crust the day before the event. I think this made for a much more pleasant experience for everyone, though I am pretty ready for spring to arrive.

I tried to do this course (set by Chris Caldwell) at a cruisey pace, as I am still nervous at pushing my body hard after Covid. I still managed to make mistakes, especially at the end of the long leg to 9, where I lost about 3 minutes. Jan said he could he see my footprints in the snow going to far down the slope, so he corrected and hit the control. :)

He crushed the course, beating me by over ten minutes despite several mistakes on his part. Fun day out. Really great to be neither the course setter nor event director for this one!
