Felt like complete crap all week,most likely thanks to the flu shot I received from work. I also have the same right hip pain I had a year ago, which sucks. It's minimal so I am doing the hip exercises and stretching like crazy. The worst part of this whole week is yesterday. Was supposed to do a 9 hour sprint and for the first time EVER in my life, I stopped at the 4 hour mark. I just could not fathom racing how I felt for 5+ more hours. Had a fever, headache, everything ached, had no energy, felt sick to my stomach. I did not want to drag them down or hold them back. I have never had this situation before and wasn't sure how it should be handled. If we had traveled out of our area, I would have never dropped. I also knew that they had a good chance of placing in the top 5 but with me feeling like crap, I would possibly have dragged them down. I was able to keep up fine but I was worried that I would not have been able to. Anyway, they got to stay ranked so I didn't feel half as bad, however, I do feel like a loser and second guess my decision like crazy. Cheers to a hopefully better week.
