Late decision to go paddle the Macalister river in a last ditch effort to try and get some fitness back before heading to Belize. The river was 1.63m, 7cm lower than back in October. Didn't sound like much but made a much slower trip- over 25mins slower. Out of the boat quite a lot and rapids not nearly as fun. But still a very pleasant place for a paddle. Just me, lots of ducks, water lizards and one deer.
