Thomson River paddle with Kathryn and Paddy. K has managed to get on the email list for the Catchment Management Authority responsible for environmental flow releases from Thomson Dam. Result was 0.52m at Coopers Creek which is considerably higher than any time I've paddled it before. No bottom scraping and the rapids were much more powerful. Very nice day on the water.
