with Mounty (from his place) and Damon. Down across natural bridge (big stone plank over creek, very cool), along Bantry Bay bottom track (hadn't run here before, awesome trail), and up to Seaforth oval. Met Mace and Anders (visiting Dane, runs for Ravinen) at Spit Bridge and then ran to Manly ferry terminal. Back tracked to North Harbour reserve, then climbed thru Balgowlah, North Balgowlah, said hello to Hugh Stodart at his place. Along top track of Manly Dam mtb track, wakehurst parkway and home.
It was warm, but only bad in direct sunlight. Lots of drink stops and and quite social for some of it. I felt good almost the whole time. Quads still heavy on the hills, but finished feeling really good. 3hrs25 total time, but took out the breaks.
Look out anyone who is racing the AROC24hr race next weekend cos Mounty, Damon and I are in fine form!!
Note
After the run I went home briefly before heading to the Aus vs NZ cricket. Drank a bottle of passionpop (ohh the memories) on the train into the city and met the boys at Aroara Pub near central. My stomach was feeling pretty ordinary by now, but a turkish pida on the way to the ground helped a lot.
Pretty ordinary game and not heaps of atmosphere. After spending all day in the sun I was pretty tired on the train trip home but it was a good day.
