Running long (Berowra to Lindfield) 4:00:00 [3] 36.0 km (6:40 / km)
shoes: Asic 2110

with Mounty from Berowra stn down to Apple tree bay, Bobbin Head, Warrimoo Track, Darri track, over to Mona Vale Rd, down to Cascades, crossed river at stepping stones, along 'if 1000 trees fell in the woods would anyone hear them?' track, and home on two creeks track.
Felt ok for most of it, but tired on the hills. Was warm but ok in the breeze and could have been much worse. Good to get a few miles in the legs.
Pretty tired all afternoon

MTB Cycling (St Ives Dirt Crits) 1:30:00 [4]
shoes: Cannondale Rush

Sat on my arse all day. Planned to go paddling then mtb crits at St Ives. Weather was shocking so bailed on the paddle. Still pissing down when it came to leave, but put on my harden-up cap and started riding. Wasn't too bad on the roads, but the crit track was far worse then i expected. Missed the start as i was still putting my number on, then had terrible chain such as soon as i hit the mud. But slowly worked my way thru the very small field into the lead. A very shallow victory though.
washed off the bike and rode home.

Running long (Dural) 1:42:00 [3] 18.0 km (5:40 / km) +600m 4:51 / km
shoes: Asic 2110

morning run while my car was being serviced. The first and last 4km are on quarry rd, then on flatish fire trail before it drops steeply into Berowra Creek. Didn't intend to go this far, and i was really plodding at the start. But got sucked into going all the way to the bottom to Steele Bridge. Legs started to feel better but really struggled with thirst towards the end. Very hot and humid.

Kayaking (Fishermans Beach) 1:34:00 [3] 14.5 km (6:29 / km)
shoes: Fenn Millennium

early morning paddle with Mounty. Been a while since my last paddle and it was a bit windy and choppy so I felt unstable at times. Managed to stay in the boat until Mounty finished, then I fell in twice. Much harder to control the millenium when I'm tired.

Running (Collaroy) 40:00 [3] 7.0 km (5:43 / km)

barefoot run after paddle.

Road Cycling (Lindfield to Balmoral) 31:00 [3] 13.6 km (2:17 / km)

commute to SS. Faster on bike than driving would have been.

Orienteering race (SS Balmoral) 44:18 [4] 8.38 km (5:17 / km) +360m 4:21 / km
shoes: Asic 2110 GT

Summer Series- Had an decent run on an ok route. Could have been a bit more ambitious and missed one control which i would have had time for. I expected to be back late, but felt good at the finish and home early. 530points. Mike Burton 540. No other hotshots.

Road Cycling (Balmoral to Lindfield) 35:00 [3] 14.0 km (2:30 / km)

home from SS via Andys.

Running (Two Creeks/Little Diggers) 48:10 [3] 8.94 km (5:23 / km)
shoes: Asic 2110

afternoon run, on a day where I should have done a lot more. But felt ok even if it was only short.

Orienteering (Belanglo) 1:00:00 [1]
shoes: Teva X1 Stability

Putting out and collecting controls on training camp. Was a bit scrappy in the bush and I spent most of the time tiptoeing thru the scrub.

Finish of the camp. Really enjoyed it and hope the juniors got some motivation.

Running (Fairyland Loop) 54:38 [3] 10.37 km (5:16 / km)
shoes: Asic 2110

was going to be an easy evening jog, but strangely felt quite good so pushed it a bit harder. Was pretty hungry, but otherwise body felt good.
