Swimming race (Anaconda AR) 34:31 [4] 1.9 km (18:10 / km)

It was windy and rough, the first time i'd encountered these conditions. Wasn't really that happy with my swim, but can't really complain as i haven't been swimming since December?
Fastest swimmer did 23mins.
MTB Cycling race (Anaconda Forster) 1:27:03 [5] 30.0 km (2:54 / km) +376m 2:44 / km
Prong ran a great run leg- 77mins and picked up time on many of the top guys.
It took me a while to get going on this ride because i wa riding Prongs hardtale rather than the Rush. Quickly caught a few of the solo riders and some teams. The course was ridiculously muddy. Probably spent more time under water than above it. I caught Guy Andrews about half way, but it picked it up and stuck with me. I was tiring a bit cos I forgot to take any food so we ended up finishing together. Also passed John Kent, Boyd Conrick and Ben Allen in transition. So I gave Prong the chance to kayak against the best in the sport.
I was 2nd fastest on the leg behind the Epic Kayaks team (83mins). It wasn't be best ride ever so not a bad result. Love that mud- but it will take weeks to get it all out of my eyes!
Running race (Anaconda Forster) 13:00 [4] 3.0 km (4:20 / km)
shoes: Nike Bowerman
Final team run from Tuncurry, across the bridge and around to Forster main beach. Prong was still running really well and we had 5th fastest time. Could see Ben Allen and Boyd Conrick but couldn't run them down.
A great weekend.Prong and I were 8th overall, 2nd team, 1st 2person team. We couldn't have done much better in our current form. And in Prong's words "now we just have to improve each leg a little, and do it all ourselves". The solo athletes were really impressive, especially Jarad who smashed both days.
