Running long 2:10:03 [3] 25.87 km (5:02 / km) +458m 4:37 / km
shoes: Nike Air Span 7

with Kathryn and Nick Schilling, from Nick's house in Traralgon. Out to Clarkes road, then a loop in the plantations along Cochranes rd and back down Clarkes road. This is a renowned run called the Animal Run and it is a nice loop, but still has about 12km on sealed road. I felt pretty good, but muscles were a bit tired and sore by the end.

Kayaking 58:28 [3] 8.4 km (6:58 / km) +15m 6:54 / km
shoes: Red7 double

afternoon paddle with Kathryn in the Red 7 at Lake Narracan on the way home from Traralgon. It was nice and sunny, but unfortunately the wind picked up and it was a real battle coming back upwind.

afternoon ride with Kathryn on a fantastic Gippsland day. Pretty cruisy pace for me but nice views and good to go somewhere different.

Kayaking 1:02:32 [3] 10.17 km (6:09 / km) +29m 6:04 / km
shoes: Red7 double

quick paddle with Kathryn in the Red7. It was getting cold quickly but nice and flat. Water level is even higher than last time.

Harriers- Rangeview Road course.
I left work with very little time got to the clubrooms with about 5mins to spare. Problem was I didn't know where the start was. I picked the wrong direction, along with Greg, and missed the start. We waited until the leaders came around on the first lap, including Kathryn and John. We joined in and the pace was pretty quick but I was feeling good. The first half lap is mostly downhill with the second half mostly uphill. When we turned uphill I felt good so surged a bit and dropped the others. Ran solidly for the next lap with the others not too far behind, then ran a final lap on my own. Pretty stoked with the time. I think I've only once run this fast on a thursday night and that was dead flat and nice and warm. Looking forward to next weeks 5km on the track.

Evening run after a day working at the Summit. Waterloo/Roaches Rd Loop+School Rd extension. Very surprised with tonights run. It was one of those rare runs where you feel good and really wished I was racing instead. If only I had felt this good in NZ. I don't ever remember running this fast on a training run before.

Stomach problems are finally gone, and while L Chest muscles are still sore they aren't a problem running.
