great swim at Hawks Nest. Lovely day, warm weather, ok surf.
Then caught the bus to Sydney for Andy's suprise party.

No running as I had to rest the ITB

with dad from carpark near Mungo Brush, north along old Gibber road all the way to the seal rocks road. I rode up with dad, then back on my own with a detour to Shelley beach and back. Really nice day and heaps of goannas to keep us company. The track was pretty wet in some places. Also some good looking sand dune terrain (like North Stockton) along the way. Just need permissions and a fuel reduction burn.
Unfortuately riding Prong's bike and shoes has given my right ITB bursa a hiding. I woke up the next day and it was very swollen. Shit!

Afternoon paddle in my old K1 with dad in the Myall River. Really nice place for paddling. There was a really strong current/tide going out so we did a short loop then paddled down to Windywopper. I followed a small pod of dolphins coming back up the river for about 15mins. They weren't kind a playful as I'd hoped but didn't swim away from me either.

Morning plod around the plantations. Found that my favourite section of remaining pines are no longer remaining. Oh well at least the toe is getting better.

first run with my wife. Hard to believe since we've been married for 5 weeks!
Toe wasn't too bad but legs a bit heavy. Need to do some stretching.
