Orienteering 5:14:22 [3] 40.0 km (7:52 / km)
shoes: SalomonXA Pro Black

Victorian 6 hr rogaine with Kathryn. Cleaned up the overall win quite easily in the end. We knew that Damon and Jarad had cleared the course yesterday so we just had to plan a route for the whole course. We made a few mistakes, mostly having trouble finding controls in watercourses when there were more than marked on the topo map. Probably totalled about 25mins of mistakes. Physically we were moving pretty well to the finish but glad it wasn't too much further. Most importantly we beat Damon and Jarad by 11mins.

evening paddle with Kathryn in Red 7. Met a local ARer Michael Kolody on the water so did a bit more. It was a good chance to talk about buying land and houses etc with an ex-Melbournite who moved to the country.

Running 48:26 [3] 8.04 km (6:01 / km) +26m 5:56 / km
shoes: Red7 double

Evening paddle with Kathryn in the Red 7. It is quite pleasant paddling on the pondage as it gets dark and often the wind drops off. I felt like I was getting my paddling mojo back but the red7 really seems to get more drag in the lower water levels than the single skis.
