Went out fairly steady until the turn then tried to pick up but found it pretty tough into the wind on the way back. Quite happy with time in the conditions.

Inverawe Country Park
Had a long wait in the box for my first leg runner to return. (At least I had MrsP for company as her 1st leg runner hadn't returned either so we both went out in the mini mass start and finished about the same time too). A few more problems today as went back to old ways - running to fast and not looking at the map and a big miss on 8. Also a few visits to some fairly deep marshes (even when I didn't need to at 13 -note read control description!).

Went out to try and get it right again. Pretty wet and muddy in places. Reasonably happy with my run no huge mistakes or missed controls. Think it was a good idea to run short and may change to short at 6 Days.

Bike track quite slippy and very windy coming back up Sharplaw. Legs still a bit tired from wknd

Went out today to try and keep concentration and have a plan rather than running too fast. Didn't pick best route 4-5 and was a bit off coming through the green. At 10 had difficulty with what was up/down and lost quite a bit of time looking too early. Other than that generally ok but slow but didn't care about time today. Soaked through and felt really cold most of the time I was out especially near the end.
