running race (Grangemouth 10k) 46:04 [5] 10.0 km (4:36 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 1000

Took the first 5k fairly steady tried not to go out too fast and felt fairly comfortable. Picked up a bit from there until 8k when I pushed again. Felt I paced this race quite well as I felt strong in last 2k and passing people. A PB taking 31s off my previous - pretty happy. (Glad I didn't go to the SOL at Mark Hill).

Race 1 RR Sprint Series (Kirstin planned)
Fast running on first part then trickier second half especially when not allowed to cross any roads. Fun!

Short steady run
Up Sharplaw-down bike track-White Lodge-Sharplaw
Followed new bike track detour which avoids burn and road crossings, nice track and a wee bit shorter. Lovely day to be out.
