Orienteering 1:00:00 [3]
Not sure of exact time or distance, I forgot to turn my watch on. Fun race put on by Eugene and gang. First mistake was route choice to 1st checkpoint, a lot of wasted energy here - should have gone with gut instinct and followed outer trail around. No major problems, actually quite a clean run, just did not have the speed needed to place better. Only other problem I encountered was on the way to number 12. Used the start of the fence line to cut in but was not accurate - had to go further along to find the depression. Nice to get out to another o-cup, weather was great and so was the course!
