Orienteering race (Metro League #3) 39:05 [5] *** 8.5 km (4:36 / km) +76m 4:24 / km
spiked:16/18c shoes: Asics Kayano 19 (2)

Metro at Centennial Park. Course was really basic and best areas of map weren't really used. Lost 10 secs on #3 being hidden in the tree. Brooner caught me at #9 and then pretty much ran together for the rest of the course. We lost 30 secs on #14 ending up too high. Good to get a proper hit out to get back into running again.

Run with Mounty, Ondrej and Bull. Starting at the Bavarian in Parramatta for beer #1.

After only 2.6km running along the Parramatta River stopped at Hooters for beer #2.

Kept running along the river to Wilson Park but the gates were closed so had to run around the streets in Olympic Park and The Brewery for beer #3. By now I was struggling to keep the pace from lack of fitness.

Ran through Bicentennial Park through to Concord but couldn't find a pub so stopped for beer #4 at the bottle shop.

The next long slog was along streets which included a wrong turn so we ended up in Drummoyne and stopped for beer #5 at Oxford Hotel.

It was then only a short run to Welcome Hotel in Balmain for beer #6 and where Brooner joined in.

Another short run over the Anzac Bridge and into Pyrmont to Quarryman's for beer #7.

Then the final short run to The Brewhouse at King St Wharf for a beer #8,9,10,11.

Thought that was it but the night continued onto McDonald's and Scary Canary for a whole lot more drinks.

Run with Mounty and Ondrej from North Sydney around Beauty Point then Spit to the Bavarian at Manly. Feeling pretty unfit but good to get back into it.

Easy run down to Gore Cove and Lane Cove Bushland Reserve. Legs pulled up a bit sore from yesterday.

Run long (Chatswood to Epping) 1:58:00 [3] 16.67 km (7:05 / km) +259m 6:34 / km
shoes: Asics Kayano 20

Run with Ondrej from Chatswood down Blue Gum Creek and the usual bush bashing along the north side of Lane Cove River through to Whale Rock and Epping. Feeling really tired by the end and legs felt weak. Was still warm enough to have an icey pole, even though its Winter.
