Easy with Sam.

Properly easy few days ticked off. Hopefully ready to get back to it this week. 7 weeks until Wrexham half marathon so still some time to get some quality work done

Note
(rest day)

Feeling a little coldy but not too bad. Have been feeling a bit knackered the last week or so though so taking the opportunity for a bit of a rest and reset this week.

I've had probably the most consistent 6 months of training of my life so good to play it safe and bank it now that a return to racing is on the horizon.

Thursday Mar 4 #

7 AM

Road Running 24:58 [2] 3.27 mi (7:38 / mi) +4m 7:36 / mi
shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus #3

Still ploddy but feeling better than last night

Wednesday Mar 3 #

6 PM

Road Running 1:13:02 [2] 9.63 mi (7:35 / mi) +40m 7:29 / mi
shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus #3

Worst I've felt on a run for ages. From about 20 minutes in this just felt like such an effort but by that point I was committed to the distance and couldn't really shorten it

Tuesday Mar 2 #

5 PM

Trail Running 18:34 [2] 2.22 mi (8:22 / mi) +5m 8:18 / mi
shoes: Inov8 X-talon 212 #6

Trail Running 34:00 [4] 5.6 mi (6:04 / mi) +16m 6:01 / mi
shoes: Inov8 X-talon 212 #6

3x10mins (2mins) on Hough end with Fraser. Slept weirdly last night and had a really sore neck. Feeling really rubbish in general beforehand too and was half expecting I'd want to bail but in the end this was ok once I got into it. Fraser cutting some corners so we'd stick together and I'd have someone to chase at points.

Really nice to get a session done on grass and in daylight midweek

Paces: 5:40, 5:35, 5:34

Trail Running 20:10 [1] 2.3 mi (8:46 / mi) +5m 8:43 / mi
shoes: Inov8 X-talon 212 #6

Pretty knackered after and wiped out for the rest of the evening as seems to be becoming the norm on tuesday sessions

Monday Mar 1 #

5 PM

Trail Running 1:03:00 [2] 8.03 mi (7:51 / mi) +15m 7:48 / mi
shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus #3

Easy with Fraser on the Mersey and playing fields. Really nice night
