Very disappointing run. The only control I'm fairly happy with was the first control, I took it slower and got off to a good start. Then from there it went poorly. I had caught someone at 2 who decided to blatantly follow me so I struggled to orienteer properly up until 6 where I lost 3 minutes. I made another big mistake on 7 and from there nothing big just small mistakes on every control.

A decent race, just made three 3 minute mistakes attacking the control. One was on a bearing on a vague hillside, and another the first leg in all the rocks and cliffs. At least I was following along on the longer legs

A bit of a late night last night so I ended up sleeping through my alarm. When I woke up, I checked my phone to see it was 8:48 and I was already 6 minutes into my race.
During the warm-up did a few quick exercises after running to the start since I figured once you've lost 90 minutes another 5 doesn't really do anything

I'm quite happy with all the shorter legs in the beginning. I was going into all the circles cleanly just I was a bit sloppy in the middle portions of legs at times and flow left a bit too be desired for.
Then the two longer legs I was quite messy. Number 10 I got a bit lucky when I lost contact in all the rocks/cliffs and managed to quickly find myself to only lose about a minute. Number 11 my direction was just all over the place in the beginning.
I took 25:36 from #1 to the finish so I figure I took about 28 minutes

I'm happy with the race today. Made it to the start on time, no huge mistakes but still 5 or so minutes in total. Mistakes were mainly going into the circle apart from the long leg (#8) where I lost about two minutes when I zoned out and fell off my bearing running towards a road.
I really enjoyed the terrain though today

Missed my start ...running to the arena was a dumb idea.
Took about half an hour on the first two controls (including time not on course, re-tying my shoes, plus a big dumb mistake on the 2nd and a smaller one on the first control). Overall not enjoying the rocky ground but got use to the map by the end, even if I was still making some small mistakes
