Alpine Skiing 5:30:00 [3]

First time downhill skiing this year and it was so much fun! We went to Crystal and skied with our cousins through powder (which quickly turned to crud after it got skied out, but still good skiing). It took the morning to get used to it again, but by the afternoon it was fine.

Orienteering race 2:13:33 [4] 7.6 km (17:34 / km) +420m 13:46 / km
25c

The infamous Bog Slog. True to tradition, my feet were soggy and muddy afterwards!

I ran long advanced, which was much more difficult than the WIOL varsity courses because it was significantly more off trail. However, it was a perfect opportunity to practice my navigational skills. Of course I made mistakes and have things to improve upon, but overall I am pleased with how it went.

Nordic Skiing 1:00:00 [3]

Went up to Cabin Creek for some nordic skiing with my dad and sister. There wasn't quite enough snow, so we had to walk short stretches a couple times. It was fun to get up in the mountains for the first time this year though!

Armchair Orienteering 30:00 [0]

I have been sick with a cold for the past few days, so I haven't been able to (well, willing to) get out and exercise. Instead, I did some armchair orienteering by looking at my dad's old maps of Lord Hill with him and my sister in preparation for Saturday's meet.

Running 40:00 [3] 4.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

I organized a team run for the girls on my soccer team to stay in shape over our break, but only one other person showed up. :( Oh well, we had a nice easy run anyways.

Running 10:00 [4]

My sister has a set workout that she's supposed to do for her soccer team over winter break. I joined her today, and we did five 40-yard sprints and five 80-yard sprints.

Soccer 30:00 [3]

While Siri did her required 1,200 juggles, I juggled a soccer ball too for ball-handling skill practice. After she finished, we did long balls for 5 minutes or so.
