Orienteering 10:13 [3] 0.68 mi (15:02 / mi)
shoes: Innov-8 X-talon 212

Training today with Bridge and Vilppu, designed by yours truly. Lots of fun to get in some quality map time with them. First part was a line-o. Good contact with the map. Got off the line once because I was relying on rocks, when it would have been better to be navigating off of several features

Orienteering intervals 22:28 [4] 2.08 mi (10:48 / mi)

Second part was o-tervals. Bridge and I ran them together, spaced out about 30sec and alternating who started on each interval. Each interval was 3 controls. It was great to get some orienteering at speed in. By the end, I was definitely feeling tired

Alpine Skiing 3:00:00 [2]

Skiing up at Stowe. The runs are decently long, and there isn't too much flat at the bottom. One run in the trees was really fun! Unfortunately the friend I was along with and I decided to venture out into some backcountry where we had no idea where we were going. Ended up hiking up a mountain with skis on my shoulder for a good 40minutes. The snow was not worth it. And the trees got super thick near the bottom, to the point where I was crouched down as low as I could be to my skis. Overall an interesting day of skiing.

Agility 35:00 [3]

Suuuuper time efficient today. Put clothes in the washer, did agility/plyo. Took clothes out and put them in the dryer, and ran. Good stuff

Running 32:49 [3] 3.96 mi (8:17 / mi)
shoes: Blue Asics Gel-Excite 4

Treadmills always make me feel weird. After I stop running, my head feels all fuzzy and my legs feel strange. I usually walk on the treadmill for 5 min after so that it goes away before I do something else, but I didn't have time today since I had to go grab my laundry, so I ran home immediately after and man oh man did I feel wonky. I didn't fall and I didn't pass out though so it's all good!

Running 48:47 [3] 6.02 mi (8:06 / mi)

On the treadmill. I was listening to music for the first 2 miles or so, until my hand got caught in the cord and my phone went flying. Other than that, a smooth and somewhat bearable treadmill session.

Note

This wasn't supposed to be a rest day, but I woke up late and then rushed to work and got out late since I got there late, and missed practice, and I didn't fit in a run
