linne 25 manna test race. first time out in the forest after doing my knee and i was nervous about knocking it and ripping it open again, so i went pretty so. orienteered poorly because i was concentrating so hard on not falling over. good to be back out in the forest though. ill get a map up tomorrow

stuck in uppsala for my 11th day in a row on my arse, bored out of my brain with a busted knee.. this town might be good for orienteering or if you are a student. but as i cant orienteer and am not allowed into the exclusive student bars (i guess non students are all pedo's arent they) it really is a bit of a shit hole.

on training related matters, i went for a 30 minute walk yesterday which turned into a 2 hour walk when it became apparent i couldnt purchase a bus ticket (you need to be on a swedish phone plan, yep, to get a bus ticket, thats right - WTF sweden?). the knee was fine to walk on flat ground, but it struggles up and down hills, so it will be a while before im back running or in the forest.
