Zsolt is the worst gym partner I've ever had. 5 mins of pool running and he borrows my aqua belt so he can go chat up some pool running chick and leaves me with the kick board for 40mins. Jules, you need to get that thing of your foot and get back into some gym work.. Cos zsolt has been dumped after that performnce

Long run with zsolt, mate and Giancarlo. Did the first 2/3rds of the lidingo loppet track. The actual race is next weekend and kind of wish I was doing it. In terms of participation its one of the biggest cross country races in the world. Mate, (a Hungarian living here) is wearing a full body red skinsuit and starting from last on the grid. For every person he passes a donation gets made to the heart lungfoundation. Great idea. But its going to be a long day for mate as there are about 15000 competitors on trail that in places is not much wider than a single track. Not to mention 30km of chaffage in a spandex body suit.

orienteering 1:10:00 [3]

Went orienteering on an old course out at lidingo. Didn't go well. Head was all over the place and i couldn't concentrate. Actually been the same pattern happening everytime i go orienteering lately. Start out well then make an error, then get pissed off and let myself get so consumed with frustration and anger that the rest of the course is a write off. Happened nearly everytime ive been out in the forest lately. Dealt with it well on Wednesday night but today was no good. Actually ive fuckin been hating orienteering lately because im getting so negative about it. This is a bloody shame because im over here in the thick of it. I think it stems from the orienteering related dissapointments ive had this year. I want to get over it and enjoy orienteering again. But first step is to get it off my chest to do so.

Core and stretching. Been working too much lately. Hate working in a consultancy sometimes its harder to bludge than in the public service. You do get better internet though so watching Friday night finals footy on the clock is easier. Absolute belter of a game today. The Swedes didn't understand why i was in a foul mood after the cats loss.

orienteering out near akalla with zsolt, nic and mate. 3x2km courses. was shit on the first one and getting pretty negative about it so i restarted on the second and did a lot better. too dark on the 3rd so pulled the pin. terrain was better than last time i was here and it was under a foot of snow

Terrain intervals with anders and nic. 5x3 mins on a loop that wasn't as rough as last week. Got a couple of controls for the oyster on the run home. Pissing with rain. Summer is well and truly over.

Nice arvo tempo run on the lidingo loppet trail. Did 8km tempo @3.34/km. Felt pretty good. Ankle was fine. Rest was warm up and cool down

Nice evening jog on the lidingo loppet track. A 30km cross country trail that im lucky enough to have about 500m from my new place. Ankle was good. Glad now I gave it 2 days off but still dont think ill go in the forest this weekend
