did the long run that i was planning to do yesterday. still not feeling too hot but knocked out a solid two hours with three reps up the range (would have done more but the blister started to play up after 3 reps) so i was happy enough, finished in the dark for the first time in a while, and it was getting cold too!
hit up iga for some crisps, powerade and yakult afterwards... all three were on special.. thats a win!

mornign ride with jogga, through kangaroo flat then over diamond hill and one tree hill and back past the uni, havnt been on the road bike for a while and jogga was dropping me

orienteering race 37:30 [4]

local race at diamond hill, good course and the contour only map made it pretty tricky, i lost about 2 mins on number 2 when i got sucked into running on a track for too long. legs were feeling pretty heavy after the session last night and the ride this morning so it felt like a real struggle

put out tapes on browns reef foe the schools champs this year, not really training but it felt like hard work cos i was pretty buggered

blister was a lot better today, could actually do a decent run.. felt pretty average though thanks to the bacon and eggs i had for brekkie.. last run with indre so i pushed her pretty hard

feeling a bit better this morning so started the calssic.. stuck with jules for about 5 controls but then he had a different split, so i had to pull the map out of my back pocket and start orienteering again. got in front of a big pack with robbie and ezy and came through the first change in 3rd. ran most of the second loop with robbie, but he got away from me when i cocked up number 8 and lost a bit of time. came through the 2nd change with grant and ian "ill skip that one" meyer, was in 4th and feeling pretty good. but trouble struck at about control 4 when i started to feel painful blisters in both my heels. from then on i slowed down pretty rapidly, by the time i got to the road crossing i was in so much pain i had to walk on my tip toes for the last 2km, the last 2.5km took me the same amount of time as the first 9.5km..i was pretty dissapointed with my weekend, and i definately wont be wearing innovate shoes anymore.. to put the icing the shitcake of a weekend one of the blisters got infected so now im on a course of antibiotics for a while

woke up feeling really sick this morning, nearly didnt run at all, decided to have a go at the sprint, didnt go hard, couldnt push it if i had wanted to.. cold got worse in the afternoon so i skip the middle

went for a ride on browns reef, riding with indre for the first 30mins or so, but then went out on my own, would have stayed out longer but it was getting dark

Long Run from number 7. reservoir. felt ok early on but was really starting to cramp up towards the end, did 5 reps of big hill range to get the climb up
