Running (Long Hard Run) 1:35:00 [5] 24.0 km (3:58 / km) +150m 3:50 / km

Ran really hard, i sort of wanted to test myself, and the harder i ran the further away the problems of the last few days felt, i was feeling really fast and strong and injury free. im screwed now though.

Note

Having an absolute prick of a time trying to organise for these aussie uniforms to get to europe.
after i ran down $20 of phone credit waiting on hold to malaysian airlines on the phone last night my dad sent me this email:

"Have been checking out the KLM luggage situation. The stated allowance is 20kg per person. Agent reckons that they actually crack down at 25kg. Seems KLM is not a good airline for excess luggage. For international flights they charge 15 Euro ($30?) for each kilogram up to 6, then it rises rapidly. What I am not sure about is whether you risk this charge over 20 kg. The dutch way is to be meticulous about rules. I think the best option is to share the load with as many people as possible, and try not to go too far over the 20kg. If you have trouble with that, then the solution may be to prioritise, and leave the lesser priority for us if we can fit them in. Here would be my priority list.
1 Running gear (is that already distributed? no)
2 Track suit tops (shows up in photos, but maybe too hot to wear outside opening ceremony?)
3 Track suit pants
4 Tophs tent (He won't need it till after JWOC)
I will ring KLM to see if we can get special treatment them being Australian team uniforms."

so to cut it short KLM dutch royal airlines are a pack of complete tightarses when it comes to luggage [insert racist comment towards the dutch here]. On top of this i got a call from the screenprinters while i was in an exam on friday to say that their printing machine had, and i quote, had a "hissy fit". hopefully i will still be able to pick up the uniforms on monday. to make matters worse my car brokedown today which means it may well be difficult to drive the 45mins out to moorabin to pick up the 6 boxes of uniforms even if by some miracle they are ready on monday.
i think i will be able to get them to europe, but toph if you see this, or anyone who will see toph in the next week please tell him this, you may need to start looking into buying a cheap tent in europe as i doubt i will be able to get your tent to you.

also if someone high up in OA reads this i would dearly appreciate it if you could also give the airline a call to try and use your clout to try and work something out, tell them my sob story.
