Running 45:00 [3]

first run since i got back.. pretty dark and pretty cold

Note

cant be bothered logging any of the training or racing i did over in europe..but heres a brief synopsis...did two days of races in latvia when i arrived, my leg was still pretty shit then so i wasnt running very fast but the maps were great. then i took it pretty easy for a few weeks cos i knew if i didnt my leg would be stuffed at oringen and the student champs..oringen was pretty good fun..the maps on the first and last day were shit(really marshy and lots of fallen trees) but the middle three days maps were great. had one good run (fourth day) made a two minute mistake and thats about how far i was off the top ten...would have been nice to get into the top ten on one of the day but oh well..
did some training at uppsala after oringen...had a run with some others on a 1:1000 map in a park near the town..that was heaps of fun..small stones were marked as boulders and the maps was really well done
the student champs in estonia was heaps of fun but the maps were bloody awful and my leg was shot by the end of the week...didnt really have any good run..sprint was fun and was my best but still had about 1min of errors...
classic was tough..made a couple of big mistakes and hit the wall towards the end (but i expected that)
...middle was a complete joke...fucked it erly on and completely cracked the shits so i gave up and walked back to the finish...when i got to the finish i decided i wasnt going to give up so i sat down for 10mins and composed myself...then went back out and jogged the second half of the course...one of the shittest maps and worst courses ive run on
my leg was pretty sore by the time the relay rolled around so i had to take it pretty easy..didnt stop me from making some big errors
took a week off running now my leg seems pretty good...but i dont think theres enough money left in the bank account to get me to the aus champs in queensland
...ill put some maps up soon
