Cycling - Road hills 1:02:00 [3] 29.23 km (2:07 / km)

had to go into town to pick up my car.. did diamond hill and one tree hill on the way.. went pretty hard up the hills

Running long 1:59:20 [3] 25.1 km (4:45 / km)

after the ride my day of training continued with a tour de browns reef.. pretty much covered the entire map..murdered a couple of fat yaks (the beers not the animals) when i finished.. pattys megamix failed me today though, too much jamiraqui, ben lee and other awful shit... shame!

Cycling - Road hills 1:35:00 [4] 42.2 km (2:15 / km)

keep up with muzza training has finally started.. it was raining again this afternoon like it has been been every other afternoon this week, but tonight i sucked it in,rugged up and went out anyway.. turned out to be pretty good, the showers stopped early in the ride, but i still got soaked from the wet road.. did the standard tour de bendigo but substituted crook street for resevoir rd (that will mean fuck all to anyone but jimbo). smashed it up all the hills (diamond hill, 2 reps of one tree hill {steep side} and guys hill) but took it really cautiously down them all as the road was like an ice skating rink.. was rooted afterwards but will need to do a few more of these..
the ipod found enough tool, frenzal and janes addictions on the pat saile megamix to keep me happy.. also got to hear mr bombastic.. haha..nearly wet myself when it came on.. havnt heard that song since i was about 7

Running 1:13:00 [3] 15.85 km (4:36 / km)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

was planning to do a ride, but again the clouds started to piss their pants as soon as i got my knicks on, so again i bailed.
dont mind running in the rain, hate riding, went for a track/terrain run through browns reef... found about 200m of bunting still out from the schools champs, so i had to run the last 7km or so with that

Soccer 40:00 [5]

well the heroes finally got up this week, 6-2, against quality opposition too.. four weeks ago we had no concept of positions, passing or team mates, we were chasing the ball around like under 8s... now we are looking around, passing more and sticking to our positions.. we seem to have found an optimal formation too 2-1-1.. two dedicated defenders, a dedicated striker and a roving midfielder...the backline and the goals is the realm of our smokers whilst the our two non-smokers take the midfield and striker positions..this way we conserve as much of our limited lung capacity as possible by keeping those guys down back.. had my own maradonna moment where i shot up the wing from the backline weaving past two guys as i went and popped it into the corner of the net from a tight angle... ahh, wheres a manchester united scout when you need him, haha.. got some pretty mean carpet burns this week though
