to training and back with oskar and rasmuss

great sprint orienteering intervals session at the agricultural university set by ross/sam? 6 or 7 short gaffled sprint courses, roughly 1km each around the campus. over half a metre of fresh snow around so it was pretty tough if you left the paths. i took all the routes i could that were on the paths as i wanted to get a bit of speed up. cheated a bit and didnt go to some of the controls that were in the deep snow

pretty massive snowstorm came through today. enough to shut down uppsala public transport and the airport anyway. got out for a run in it later in the day. tough work running in about 70cm of fresh snow

orienteering 2:16:20 [3] 17.0 km (8:01 / km)

tuesday night classic in about half a metre of snow. tough work. but it was made it bit easier by the coffee and marshmallow controls throughout the couse. a tradition for the first tuesday of winter in uppsala apparently. great event. but very tough. fresh snow and wet marshes that havnt fully frozen yet meant i was absolutely freezing after. sauna was nice

at -20 today it was too cold for a southern hemisphere type such as myself to go out running so i went to the treadmill in the gym instead. did a 5km tempo effort ~3.40. still not used to the treadmill
