Long run from the clubhouse. it had been sleeting all day so the ground was pretty slippery in places and id forgotten my o shoes so I didn't go on the long line o with the boys. Instead did a long run by myself. Really had to push myself to keep going tonight. Legs were heavy as and the stomach was struggling to digest the two cheese burgers I had stupidly stuffed in it 30mins before training. 0 degrees and sleeting. I nearly gave up at 20 mins 40mins, 50mins, 60mins, 70mins and 75mins.. Gave up at 87mins 3 mins shy of the target. Was motivated to keep going tonight with the knowledge this will probably be the last snow free long run until march
Night o from hellasgÄrden set by Emil L. Good fun middle distance. Finished first feeling like a hero before realising/being told I was a fuckin idiot by Emil that there was a second part on the back of the map that I hadn't done. Turned out there was a micro loop starting at 5 and I was meant to turn my map over and do another 6 controls. I didnt. I remember seeing everybody in the pack go off a 90degree direction from the line i was taking from 5 to 6 and thinking to myself "what are those clodhoppers doing?". Hero feeling gradually wore off as i realised i was the clodhopper. Good fun course though. Bloody cold though. Feet were ice blocks after
