Rest day. Just never quite found a window and can feel quads beginning to kick in a bit anyway.
Vaccine 2 done now. Be interesting to see if i feel as utterly sh*te as last one
Going to be a lazy weekend now anyway as no news on the Covid case in madams class. No Junior O comp for her - gutted on her behalf, and let’s not talk about a self isolating 14-yr-old in the house until next Friday!! :-o

Thursday May 27 #

Running 3:51:01 [3] 13.05 mi (17:42 / mi) +1286m 13:33 / mi
ahr:123 max:164

Munro bagging with Jon on the first day of proper warmth and sunshine for far too long!
I ran in and out while Jon took his bike. Warm, sunny, cuckoos :-)
Creaky but bearable.
Fab views from summits, some easy scrambling sections, a fun ridge and a pretty dramatic descent. You really didn’t want to stack it in the first half, although you would have reached the bottom fairly rapidly :-D
Legs surprisingly cooperative all day - a first in recent times, and despite the sore heels, did a decent job of running out again.

Such a bugger someone in madams class produced a positive lateral flow test ... that’s ALL our weekend plans off the agenda ... fingers crossed she stays negative!!

Wednesday May 26 #

7 PM

Running 35:06 [3] 3.93 mi (8:56 / mi) +54m 8:34 / mi
ahr:162 max:192

An exceptionally creaky sore run around the block from Jon’s. Very much needed after wrestling with the BOF website and generally staring at a computer screen for many hours!!

Tuesday May 25 #

4 PM

Running 38:26 [3] 4.26 mi (9:01 / mi) +32m 8:49 / mi
ahr:130 max:146

Easy bimble from Cloddymoss because I didn’t have change for parking charges at Culbin!
Bit of faffing around checking tracks etc
The sun came out, it almost felt a bit tropical ... at 11 degrees :-D
Strange findings - the shoes that started to aggravate my ankle, if i take the innersoles out completely, it’s much better!!! Random and intriguing :-)

Monday May 24 #

Cycling 10:25 [3] 2.12 mi (4:55 / mi)
ahr:101 max:111

To collect the calamity van from garage. On attempting to drive it home, realised its even more calamitous!! FFS
