Took Z to Green Lane Park for our first paddling adventure together. Started in the gnu - paddling with half a kayak blade. We'd planned to meet friends at the boat rental launch, but I didn't realize it was a totally different section of the park. So, we turned back and drove over there. A lot of effort blowing up the raft for a 10 minute paddle!

Family miles to finish. Almost curled up on the side of the road with persistent cramps from shoulders to waist. Raspberry sorbet at bredenbecks helped the psyche but not the discomfort. That’s what you get for running 50(.5) miles on a whim with no training. Totally worth it.
